A new company will revolutionise the probiotic market

Seed Probiotics

Seed is a new company with strong names behind it. Their products are based on scientific evidence from clinical trials. Seed’s chief scientific officer, Gregor Reid, chaired the UN WHO expert panel on probiotics, and served as President of the International Scientific Organisation of Probiotics and Prebiotics (ISAPP).

The special thing about the products of Seed is that it isn’t just probiotics but synbiotics, which is a combination of probiotics and prebiotics which keep the helpful bacteria alive. In contrast to many probiotic strains on the market, Seeds specific strains are clinically tested and they are more efficient than generic strains in common probiotic products.

At the moment there are two products available in the US: a female and a male synbiotic. Clinical studies on this product will be finished by the end of this month. Seed is backed by celebrities like Cameron Diaz, Jessica Biel and Karlie Kloss. Martin Blaser is a scientific advisor. I’m sure we will hear some more from Seed in the near future.
